Telangana: Patients allegedly denied hospital beds despite availability

In some government hospitals in Telangana beds are only available as per how much money the patient can dish out. In an expose at a government hospital, an administrator can be seen asking for Rs 10000 from a critically ill patient who was on oxygen support. This is yet another instance of profiteering amid the Covid-19 pandemic.
