Telangana: Legislators, collectors visit schools in districts as educational institutions reopen

10 months after they closed due to the Covid19 situation and lockdown, schools in Telangana opened today. But only for students of classes 9 and above. For the last few days, the government machinery in the districts was involved in cleaning the classrooms and making arrangements for reopening kitchens for midday meals to be served. On Monday, education officials, including district collectors paid a visit to the schools to interact with students on the first day. Covid precautions are being followed at the schools and students are being seated with a six-feet distance being maintained between them.
