Telangana: 17-year-old diagnosed with leukaemia becomes Commissioner for a day
Telangana police helped a 17-year-old blood cancer victim, A. Ramya, realise her dream of becoming the Commissioner of Police for a day. A. Ramya is a bright and confident girl from Rachakonda, who has been fighting blood cancer (leukaemia) bravely. A local NGO approached IPS Mahesh Bhagwat and expressed her wish to him. Fortunately, the IPS was empathetic and A. Ramya got to be an acting Commissioner of Police for a day. While acting fighting the life-threatening disease, A. Ramya is also a 2nd-year MPC Intermediate in Sri Chaitanya College Suchitra of Medchal District.
