A dispute has erupted over 25-acre prime land in Hafeezpet in the vicinity of Hyderabad's IT corridor. Around 100 families bought plotted Paigah lands in survey number 80 of Hafeezpet - which is spread across 484 acres and 31 guntas. Addressing a press conference in Hyderabad to draw light to the issue, the members of Hafeezpet Land Protection Committee said despite the high court of Telangana recently delivering a judgement on the dispute, the families who bought plots in survey number 80 were forcefully evicted from their properties by alleged land sharks.
