Forest fires are raging across Telangana. Last week, the state recorded over 7000 forest fires within 10 days. In Amrabad tiger reserve, the first fires that occured on March 7 resulted in the death of a tribal person and caused injuries to 10 others. Meanwhile, forest officials in Kumaram Bheem Asifabad district said that the fires are occasionally driving wild animals out of their natural habitat.
