The Visakhapatnam RTC complex witnessed a massive disruption in services as hundreds of passengers were left stranded due to a shortage of buses. Passengers were seen climbing inside crowded buses through the windows to reach their destination. The rush is a result of 7,500 Andhra Pradesh State Road Transport Corporation buses being diverted for election duty. The APSRTC has a total of 12,500 buses in its fleet. Voting for 25 Lok Sabha seats and 175 Assembly seats will be held in a single phase on April 11.
