Sudden downpour triggered by a cyclonic circulation over coastal Andhra Pradesh caught people unawares across Hyderabad. Many parts of Hyderabad witnessed light to moderate rainfall up to 30mm. Few districts such as Nizamabad, Mahabubnagar, Mulugu witnessed hailstorm damaging standing crops. As per IMD, Hyderabad, light rains will continue to lash at isolated places and mercury levels are likely to increase thereafter.
