The commercial establishments almost closed in Vijayawada on Sunday as part of measures to control the second wave of coronavirus disease which is sweeping the state. A resolution to this effect unanimously adopted at a meeting of the Vijayawada Chamber of Commerce and Industry. The meeting also decided to close all shops and establishments by 6 p.m. daily from Monday to April 30.
