As many as nine people including five women died and several were injured, when an APSRTC bus carrying 47 passengers fell into the Jalleru rivulet in the West Godavari district of Andhra Pradesh. According to information, the bus was on its way to Jangareddygudem from Koida of Velairpadu Mandal. When it reached a bridge across the Jalleru rivulet near Vegavaram village, the driver lost control and fell into the rivulet.
