Woman confronts snatcher in Delhi's Rohini, gets phone back

A routine training mission of the Indian Air Force ended in disaster as a Sukhoi Su-30MKI fighter jet disappeared from radar and later crashed in Assam, killing both pilots. The powerful twin-seat combat aircraft had taken off from the Jorhat airbase before communication was lost with ground control at around 7:42 pm. Officials later confirmed that the aircraft went down in a remote hilly region of Karbi Anglong district, nearly 60 kilometres away. Search and rescue teams from the Indian Air Force have launched an extensive operation in the dense forest terrain where access remains difficult. Villagers in the Nilip area reported hearing a loud explosion around the time the aircraft vanished from radar. The Su-30MKI remains one of the most advanced fighter jets in India’s arsenal. Investigators will examine the wreckage once located to determine the exact cause of the crash.
