The Delhi High Court has warned hotels and restaurants not to project its stay on govt's service charge order as if the court has approved charging of service charge. The court also asked the hotels and restaurants to consider changing the name of service charge to something like 'staff welfare fund' as the term service charge is mostly interpreted by people as something that is charged by the government.
