Peaceful Diwali for Delhi Fire Service, 20 pc lesser calls received

Delhi Fire Service received 20 per cent lesser fire calls on the occasion of Diwali, informed Director Atul Garg on October 25. “We received a total of 201 fire calls between October 23 and 24. Post-midnight till 6 am today, we received 63 more fire calls. 20 per cent lesser calls received comparatively due to the ban on firecrackers. It was an overall peaceful Diwali,” he said.
