Parvesh Verma courts another controversy, 'threatens' to pour chemical on DJB official
BJP MP Parvesh Varma has stepped into another controversy ...this time on the banks of the Yamuna. The West Delhi MP, just ahead of the Chhath festival, was seen threatening a Delhi Jal Board officer of pouring an anti-foaming chemical on him, which is being used to control frothing in the Yamuna. He had gone to inspect the Yamuna ghats and started shouting at the officer on seeing the chemical. Seeing the commotion, some locals and AAP workers intervened and defended the officer. They even accused BJP MP of failing people. Verma seemed to have no answers. Varma later defenced his outburst and the language he used... even as DJB vice chairman Saurabh Bhardwaj tweeted the clips and said that the BJP leaders should learn something about science and technology.
