The New Delhi Municipal Corporation will hold the auction of the iconic Taj Mansingh hotel on 28 September 2018. The hotel which is being run by the Taj hospitality group since 1978 will attract bids from two major groups. The Taj group which would certainly be interested in retaining their hold over the property and the ITC Group for whom this is a chance to acquire another major property in the national capital. However, a lease of 33 years means that only very strong players can eye this property.
