Floodwaters inundate Delhi's Rajghat, raising concerns
Waterlogging was observed at Rajghat in Delhi following light to moderate rainfall on July 18. However, the Yamuna River's water level is receding and was recorded below the danger mark at 205.25 on July 19. This indicates an improvement in the flood situation in Delhi. As a result, the state government has lifted the ban on entry of heavy vehicles into the national capital, which was imposed due to waterlogging at several borders. Heavy vehicles carrying essential items were exempted from the restriction to ensure the availability of food and necessities.
