Espionage case: Delhi court sends journalist, two others to 14-day judicial custody
A Delhi court sent freelance journalist Rajeev Sharma and two of his associates- a Chinese woman Qing Shi and a Nepalese man Sher Singh alias Taj Bohra- to judicial custody for 14 days. The three were arrested by Delhi Police in an espionage case under the Official Secrets Act. According to police, he was allegedly passing sensitive information about India's border strategy, Army's deployment and procurement, and foreign policy to Chinese intelligence agencies.
