Delhi's air quality slips back to 'very poor' category

Due to the calm wind and stable atmospheric conditions, it was noted that Delhi's air quality index (AQI) is predicted to worsen even more and enter the "severe" category. On Monday, the Air Quality Index (AQI) was 369, and it is expected to get worse before moving into the "severe" category. In the Delhi NCR, construction and demolition are prohibited. Stone crushers, hot-mix plants, and brick kilns all ceased operation.
