Major embarrassment struck officials at Delhi’s Tihar jail when it was discovered that a woman had used a fake identity to visit her inmate boyfriend multiple times without being detected. The woman who passed herself as an NGO member reportedly stayed for over five hours over a period of four days. The fraud was discovered when jail authorities mentioned the woman to the NGO authorities of which she claimed to be a member of. A probe has been ordered in the matter by jail officials.
