Garbage Compactor is the solution to garbage woes in Delhi. The 8-ft-high cylindrical unit shreds and compresses domestic waste. The dense cake formed by the compactors are then sent to waste-to-energy plants in the capital. The garbage on the road side will be a thing of the past once these compactors are available. These cylindrical structures, also known as recycling centres, will be planted alongside major roads in Delhi and are considered as solution to city's garbage problem.
