The Temple committee demolished illegal structures of the temple in the riot-hit Jahangirpuri area of Delhi. The temple is situated in the C-block where a demolition drive was carried out by MCD and riots took place on the occasion of Hanuman Jayanti. The demolition drive was stopped in riot-hit Jahangirpuri after the Supreme Court order. Though, MCD had demolished many illegal structures in C-block including Masjid's gate.
