Delhi riots: CRPF offers compensation to former employee

In a noble gesture, the CRPF has offered aid to its former employee who was a victim in riots in Northeast Delhi. Directorate General, CRPF (Central Reserve Police Force) Dr. AP Maheshwari on Wednesday presented a cheque of Rs. 11 lakhs to Alish Mohammad, a retired Head Constable of CRPF. Alish's house was damaged during riots in Bhagirathi Vihar on 25th February. As many as 47 people were killed and more than 200 were injured in the deadly violence in the month of February.
