LNJP Hospital Medical Director Dr Suresh Kumar on August 06 raised concern over rising COVID cases and urged people to take the booster dose. Speaking to ANI, he said, ‘COVID cases are rising in Delhi, positivity rate has gone up along with hospitalisation. Recovery is still quite good among patients. Though patients are getting admitted, complications are less. 4-4.5 per cent beds occupied. The 3rd dose is a must for all.’ ‘Three people of African origin are still admitted to hospital. They are recovering from fever and skin lesions. No suspect other than them has been found as yet. The person admitted in July has recovered completely and went back,’ he added.
