Delhi: Devotees offer namaz at Jama Masjid on ‘Eid-ul-Fitr’

Muslims on April 33 gathered at the Jama Masjid to offer namaz on the occasion of Eid-ul-Fitr. The festival is celebrated by Muslims around the globe after the conclusion of the dawn-to-dusk fasting during the entire month of Ramzan. Ramzan is observed by Muslims worldwide as a month of fasting to commemorate the first revelation of the Quran to the Prophet Muhammad, according to Islamic belief.
