Delhi: Angry traders thrash ITBP jawan during MCD's sealing drive in Mayapuri

Delhi Municipal Corporation’s sealing drive in Mayapuri turned violent when angry traders turned hostile and pelted stones on police and para-military personnel on April 13. One Indo-Tibetan Border Police (ITBP) personnel was cornered by a group of agitated traders in between the ruckus. The group was seen thrashing the ITBP jawan before a few good samaritans came and rescued him from the violent 'traders'. The sealing drive of ‘illegal commercial spaces’ was conducted at West Delhi’s Mayapuri locality.
