Covid-19: Tablighi Jamaat members donate plasma for coronavirus patients’ treatment

Tablighi Jamaat members, who were shifted to Sultanpuri quarantine centre and had tested negative, are now donating their plasma for treatment of covid-19 positive patients. Till now, four members of Tablighi Jamaat have donated their plasma. According to doctors, blood can be retrieved from a person after two weeks of recovery. Plasma therapy involves transfusing plasma retrieved from the blood of persons who have recovered from Covid-19 into a person suffering from the disease.
