Police reported that two men were fatally shot while getting haircuts at a salon in the Najafgarh area of southwest Delhi on Friday. The victims, identified as Sonu and Ashish, both in their early thirties, were shot multiple times in front of other patrons and salon staff. A purported CCTV recording of the incident, which occurred on Friday evening, surfaced on social media. It depicted one of the victims pleading with the assailant before being shot at close range in the head. The video also showed two female staff members fleeing in fear. The attackers, one wearing a yellow jacket, fled the scene after the shooting. A police official stated that the case appears to be linked to personal animosity, although the possibility of gang involvement hasn't been ruled out. The victims, Sonu and Ashish, were residents of Nagli Sakrawati in the Najafgarh area, according to the police. Sonu sustained a gunshot wound to the head, while Ashish was shot three times in the head and once in the chest. Following the incident, panic gripped the area, prompting a call to the Police Control Room (PCR). Delhi Police subsequently formed three teams to apprehend the suspects.
