Iran has carried out a sustained, multi-day assault on Ali Al Salem Air Base in Kuwait, the US military's primary airlift hub and gateway for combat power across the Middle East. Satellite imagery confirmed at least four impact sites across the base, with a massive smoke plume visible from space. A fuel depot in the east of the base was among the confirmed hits, responsible for the largest column of black smoke. Italian Foreign Minister Antonio Tajani confirmed significant damage at the base, which also hosts approximately 300 Italian service members. Kuwait reported waves of missiles and drones entering its airspace as late as Wednesday morning, confirming the assault was a sustained campaign, not a one-off strike.
