CAA protests in Delhi: Vehicle torched in Daryaganj, cops use water cannon to disperse protesters

The protests against the Citizenship Amendment Act, 2019 continued to jolt Delhi on Friday. The protest turned violent in central Delhi's Daryaganj area after agitators set a car ablaze in the evening. Police used water cannon to disperse the protesters. Earlier, the additional deputy commissioner of police of Shahdara suffered injury due to stone pelting during a protest in Seemapuri. Protest against the CAA was also held at the Jama Masjid area in Delhi.
