Police lathicharged people who went into a frenzy mode on spotting actor Vijay cycling to a polling booth at Neelangarai in Chennai on Tuesday morning. The actor, who wore a green shirt, was cycling to a polling station to cast his vote. His fans and others followed him on their two-wheelers taking photos and videos on their mobile phones. The actor tried pedalling faster. But he could not move forward as he was surrounded by people.
