Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi dismisses Senthil Balaji from council of ministers

Tamil Nadu Governor RN Ravi dismissed jailed former minister Senthil Balaji from the council of ministers with immediate effect. In his letter, the Governor said that Balaji is facing serious charges and he has abused his position as minister to influence law processes. Sentil Balaji’s continuation may lead to the breakdown of Constitutional machinery , he said.
