These days people try to find out and explore different kinds of theme based restaurants for dining out, but this is indeed very a unique one. Here robots pick up the food from the kitchen and deliver it at the customer’s table. And customers can pick up the food from the tray. A group of five youngsters based out of Coimbatore, who are passionate about theme-based restaurants, have opened a robot themed restaurant in the city. Here the robots are polite and courteous, if they detect someone blocking the way and they would request them politely to move out of their way. For long the youths have been working on sourcing robots that could serve in restaurants and figuring out how to program and repair them and now finally sourced them from a company abroad. The robots cost around Rs 7 lakh each.
