Raid at TN road contractor's premises continues on second day; Rs 163 crore cash, 100kg gold seized

The income tax raid at the premises of Tamil Nadu road contractor Nagarajan Seyyadurai continued on the second day. The income tax officials started their search at more than 20 places in Chennai, Vellore, Madurai and Aruppukottai on July 16. So far Rs 163 crore cash and 100kg gold have been recovered during the searches and raid. The directorate of investigation revealed that the contractor kept only Rs 25 lakh cash in his house and hid his remaining cash and gold at 10 different places.
