The Election department along with the IT department conducted raids at the residence of senior leader and DMK treasurer Durai Murugan in Vellore. The election commission had gotten a tip-off that there was movement of money at the residence. The legal team of Murugan also made a fuss when the officials reached the treasurer’s place, saying they did not have the proper papers for a search.
