Customs officers at Chennai airport arrested a man who imported MDMA pills and LSD stamps (narcotic substances) from abroad. A team checked some parcels at the foreign post office which were sent from seemingly dubious addresses in foreign countries. MDMA pills and LSD stamps were found in one of them. There were 250 MDMA pills and 75 LSD stamps in the parcel. The receiver of the parcel was traced. Investigations revealed that he had placed an order for the drug on the dark web. The man was arrested under the Narcotic Drugs and Psychotropic Substances Act and remanded in judicial custody.
