Pink turban campaign for rights and dignity of women

The girl students sported pink turbans during their school's daily morning assembly to start the Pink Turban campaign in Chandigarh. Held to promote rights and dignity of girls and women, the campaign, which kicked-off on International Girl Child Day recently, saw a huge participation of students from Government Girls Model Sr. Sec. School, Sector 18, Chandigarh. The initiative was organized by Yuvsatta- an NGOand Arunima Peace Club of the school.
