Punjab University students protesting outside vice-chancellor professor Raj Kumar's office. They were demanding the reopening of the Punjab University campus. Protesting students submitted a memorandum to the vice-chancellor. Students said that life around is normal, government schools opened for 9 to 12th classes in Chandigarh and in Punjab. Students coming to school in full strength but the university has still not decided to reopen the campus for regular students.
