Iran-backed Lebanese militant group Hezbollah launched a powerful rocket barrage into northern Israel, triggering sirens and panic across multiple cities. The attack targeted areas near Haifa, including Karmiel and the Krayot suburbs, leaving at least two people injured by blasts and shrapnel, according to Israeli emergency services Magen David Adom. The Israeli Defense Forces said several rockets were intercepted by air defense systems, while others landed in open areas. The strike comes just hours after Israel released footage of airstrikes targeting sites it claims were used by Hezbollah in southern Lebanon.
