Police became 'Barati' at the wedding of a tea stall owner's daughter in Damoh

In the Damoh district, the entire police department disguised as barati welcomed the wedding procession of a poor daughter.Chatre Athiya, a poor man, runs his tea shop in front of the police station premises in Damoh. Chatre has two sons and a daughter, his wife passed away many years ago, and the household survives through tea shops and wages. Due to financial crises he was unable to arrange the marriage of his daughter.On getting information about the trouble chatre was facing, the residents of Magaron and the police department all came forward and took the initiative to complete this auspicious work, they decided to organize the wedding in the residential premises of Thana Magaron itself and the whole arrangement was under the responsibility of the police.Along with the police family, invitations were also sent to eminent citizens, press, social workers of the village. The bridegroom was brought from Janvasa to the wedding venue in a police vehicle hooter with music. This work of the police department is being widely praised in the entire region.
