The Chattisgarh police team recovered a huge amount of equipment during an encounter broke out between the Chhattisgarh police and Naxalites in the forests in Kanker district. During the encounter took place between police and Naxalites in the forest area near village Aaland. The Naxalite camp set up by the Naxalites was demolished by the police. The encounter between the police and the Naxalites went on for about an hour. After the encounter the naxalites fled from the site. Several Naxalites have been reportedly injured in the encounter.
