On the occasion of Dussehra, effigies of Ravana are burnt at various places. But, In Dhamtari, Dashanan’s 10 heads could not burn for which the municipal corporation employee has been suspended. It is being said that the municipal corporation team took responsibility for the Dussehra festival at the Gaushala grounds. The corporation team made an idol of Ravana. While burning the effigy of Ravana, the fire could not reach the ten heads of Dashanan. The corporation team then gathered the ends and burned them together. After which the Municipal Corporation team received a lot of abuses and rumours from the public. However, Rajendra Yadav, an employee of the corporation, has been suspended. According to the information the employee has been accused of 'serious negligence' in the construction of Ravana effigy. The order states that the incident tarnished the image of the municipal body.
