Posing as health worker, man tries to snatch chain in Bengaluru

A 38-year-old who pretended to be a BBMP health worker tried to snatch a gold chain from a homemaker but was caught by the public. The man knocked on the woman’s door claiming to be a BBMP health official, and started collecting details saying he was on Covid-19 detail. Asking for a glass of water, he attempted to snatch her chain and started to run. Neighbours caught him when the woman screamed.
