Lingayat seer rejects Karnataka govt's reservation under 2A category

Panchamasali Lingayat on Friday rejected the 2D reservation assurance given by the Karnataka government. The Lingayat leaders have given a new deadline to the Karnataka chief minister Basavaraj Bommai to announce the benefits as assured under the 2A category. Earlier on Thursday, a meeting happened between several Lingayat leaders along with BJP and Congress leaders. Basava Jaya Mruthyunjaya Swami who is spearheading this agitation said in the meeting that the chief minister should amend his decision in the next 24 hours.
