IB officer’s case: Two arrested, including neighbour, property dispute behind murder say police

Mysuru police arrested two persons in connection with the murder of RN Kulkarni. Police said that the investigation revealed that the murder took place over a property dispute. Police identified the arrested persons as 30-year-old Manu, an MBA graduate and his friend Varun. Police said that Manu had constructed a building next to Kulkarni’s house in the TK Layout of Sharadadevi Nagar, which was flouting the building by-laws. Kulkarni had objected to breaking the bylaws and not leaving space. Former Intelligence Bureau officer Kulkarni died after being hit by a car inside the Mysore University campus.
