Bengaluru: NSUI activists demand the release of Disha Ravi

The National Students' Union of India (NSUI) activists organised a protest rally against the arrest of climate change activist Disha Ravi. NSUI activists took out a protest rally in Bengaluru and occupied Maurya Circle. Disha Ravi’s arrest was ‘outright wrong’, claimed NSUI activists and demand the release of the 22-year-old. Delhi Police however claimed that the arrest was made in accordance with the law and said that Disha had sent the ‘toolkit’ to teen climate activist Greta Thunberg.
