Bengaluru: Army Day parade to be held in MEG on January 15

The Army Day Parade is being held in Bengaluru's Parade Ground, MEG & Centre this year. This will be the first of its kind event at Bengaluru. The Army Day Parade will be held on January 15. The day signifies the formal taking over of the Indian Army by its first Indian Commander-in-Chief Field Marshal K M Cariappa on January 15, 1949, from the British Commander-in-Chief.
