After rocking the Oscars, ‘Lion’ kid Sunny Pawar gets royal welcome in Mumbai

After winning hearts of many with his adorable stint at the Oscars, Sunny Pawar is back in Mumbai. Eight-year-old Sunny Pawar got a grand reception and what was heartening to see was how his family and friends had clustered to meet him. Sunny, who is a student of Air India Model School, lives with parents Dilip Pawar, a former government office sweeper, and home-maker mother Vasu, in a slum in Mumbai’s Kalina. Sunny featured in the Hollywood film ‘Lion’, which stars Dev Patel and Nicole Kidman.
