NSEL scam: SEBI steps up probe; penalty, ban likely on brokers if found guilty

According to sources, SEBI steps up the NSEL probe against brokers which will soon conclude. Penalty, ban likely on brokers if found guilty, says sources. SEBI has issued show-cause notice to 5 brokers including Anand Rathi, IIFL, Geojit Comtrade, Motilal Oswal and Philip Capital.
