Jeep, a brand known for making iconic SUVs, has introduced the 4x2 variant of the Compass. Priced at Rs 20.49 lakh (ex-showroom), the 4x2 iteration of the Compass is roughly Rs 6 lakh cheaper than the existing one. While the Compass was already the most affordable offering from the brand in India, it has now become even more accessible. During our conversation with Aditya Jairaj, Head of Jeep India, he told us about how India is the only other market where Jeep vehicles are being produced locally. He also spoke about the brand's intent to increase its share in the market significantly with the new 4x2 Compass and by improving the localisation levels.
