Shortly after Hillary Clinton concluded her speech accepting the nomination for the office of US President, Donald Trump took to Twitter to lampoon the first ever woman nominee to White House.
In her speech, Hillary had made various scathing attacks at Trump and his capabilities. Targeting his social media presence, she said, "a man you can bait with a tweet is not a man we can trust with nuclear weapons". Trump immediately started blasting the leader on his favourite platform, Twitter. The Republican party nominee is well-known for his knee-jerk responses on Twitter and frequent spats with people.
He questioned her stand on national policies, questioning her silence on radical Islam and the refugee crisis. He also knocked down Hillary's statement on Wall Street and measures to increase job opportunities in the US. “Corruption and devastation follows her wherever she goes,” Trump tweeted. Trump also bashed Clinton as “owned by Wall Street” and claimed her “vision is a borderless world where working people have no power, no jobs, no safety”. He also went ahead and declared her 'unfit' to lead the country.
Hillary, in her speech, had attacked Trump's character and leadership style at various occasions. Trump countered all her attacks saying that Clinton had the “worst judgement".
Hillary Clinton became the first woman to accept nomination for the US presidency on Thursday.
