My mother, my hero, our next President - Hillary: Chelsea Clinton

She may have kept away from political limelight for most parts but on Thursday night (local time) in Philadelphia, Chelsea Clinton urged supporters to vote for mother Hillary as the next US President.
Banking on examples of her own life and thanking Hillary for 'being a pillar of strength', 36-year-old Chelsea said she has always seen her mother as a woman driven by passion for her work and compassion for others."Regardless of what has happened in my life, my mother was always, always there for me," she said. "That feeling – being valued and loved – that’s something my mom wants for every child. It is the calling of her life. There’s something else my mother taught me: Public service is about service.”

Chelsea also elaborated on what she claimed is Hillary's relentless spirit. “People ask me all the time, how does she do it? How does she keep going? Here’s how. It’s because she never ever forgets who she’s fighting for," said Chelsea .

Interestingly, there was hardly any reference - direct or indirect - to Hillary's main opponent in the race to the White House. Chelsea's speech was calm, composed and completely focused on bringing out why Americans should vote for her mother, rather than not vote for Donald Trump - a sharp deviation from Barack Obama's speech from a day before when he ripped into the Republican presidential candidate for his views and statements.
Chelsea though remained firm and steadfast. "I know with all my heart that my mother will make us proud as our next President," she said. "Ladies and gentlemen, my mother, my hero, our next President - Hillary Clinton."
